Qring tracks the intensity of your activity

Because of the strong linear relationship between heart rate and exercise, Qring can track your intensity of activity, which is a percentage of the power of the heart during physical activity. Exercise intensity is the percentage of cardiac power used to perform physical activity, and Qring takes into account the fact that exercise intensity varies according to individual heart function, physical condition, age and gender.
Maximum Heart Rate
Activity intensity is closely related to your maximum heart rate (MHR). MHR is the fastest your heart can beat in one minute and is used as a percentage of exercise intensity.
Intensity Levels
Qring categorizes exercise intensity into three levels:
- Low-intensity activity: 40 to 55 percent MHR
- Low-intensity activity: 40 to 55 percent MHR
- High Intensity Activity: 75% to 90% MHR
Low Intensity Activity
Low-intensity activities are light activities of daily living. When you are at a low intensity level, you can breathe normally and usually do not sweat. Examples include taking an easy walk, easy dancing, stretching, or shopping.
Moderate Intensity Activity
During moderate-intensity activity, you breathe harder and deeper than usual. After about 10 minutes of exercise, you usually start to sweat. Examples of moderate-intensity activities include bicycling on a flat surface, brisk walking, jogging, endurance exercises, and playing doubles tennis.
High Intensity Activity
The heart works at peak efficiency during high-intensity activity. At this intensity, talking becomes difficult and breathing is rapid. Examples of high-intensity activities include biking or hiking, swimming, playing basketball, boxing, or high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Within minutes, you will be sweating profusely.
Some studies show that if you exercise at 85% of your maximum heart rate for more than 12 minutes during a workout, you'll continue to burn 15% more calories over the next 24 hours, even if you stop exercising.
With Qring, you can more scientifically monitor and manage your exercise intensity to optimize your workout and improve your health.
